It''s not free. I received my 5 ZIGEN FIREBALL EXHAUST 2 weeks ago from www.optauto.com with the price above including shipping. The 5 Zigen exhaust is awesome, it has a tone to make V8’s jealous, excellent quality, and looks beautiful with is stainless muffler. While it looks smaller than others its performance and sound are amazing leading to the old adage it’s not the size of the boat…. I was out cruising around last night and had many compliments on sound and looks. I like this setup better than my brothers Apex-I N1 which sounds more ricey. There is no rice with this setup and I would highly recommend 5 ZIGEN exhausts. Similar Products Used: Stock Exhaust, Apex-i N1 |

Materials used, you won't get a ticket for the exhaust, love the sound...deep..at 3200 rpm..GO Zigen
Weakness:
none Great, low sound exhaust, it does not sound like bees in the jar like some other exhaust systems. It has a great tone, especial when your at VTEC. THough kinda loud inside the car, but if your will to spend money on a civic...then your like me and don't care. Install is stright foward. Like all exhaust systems: it looks 'G', fits perfect, and get louder over time. Similar Products Used: none |

Awesome sound. Can definitly feel the car pick up a little faster. Looks good.
Weakness:
None. This is an awesome cat-back! You can totally feel the difference from the stock exhaust. It definitly give your car extra pep. Its one of the best sounding mufflers out there. Its got a very solid, deep tone thats a little quieter than others but still loud enough to get your point across. Installation of the full cat-back was pretty simple. the hardest part was getting those rusty, ultra-tight bolts of the stock system off. But putting it on took no more than an 45 minutes. For a tiny 4-pot engine, this thing really makes the car sound nice, and it was a peice of cake to put in. If you don't care about performance, you can save yourself about $200 by getting the axel-back version instead of the cat-back.
Weakness:
It's appearance is rather different than many of the other exhausts out there, and I sorta wish the actual tip was maybe 4 or 5 inches longer in length, but the look does grow on you after a while. When I first opened the box, I was absolutely shocked by the size of this thing! It was really tiny and I was very worried that this exhaust was going to sound really crappy because of it's small size. Fortunately however, the fireball has a really nice sounding tone to it. At low RPMs it has a nice deep growl, and it screams and goes nuts when you really hit the high RPMs. As far as performance goes, I can't honestly say that it made an improvement without taking a look at dynograph tests, although it's probably because I am a cheapskate and I purchased the axel-back version instead of the cat-back system. I'd assume that the cat-back setup would provide more "umph" than the axel-back version, being as it is $200 more and it replaces all the piping from the muffler to the catalytic converter. Installing the 5Zigen fireball is real easy though. It bolts right up to your stock piping and if your bolts aren't too heavily rusted, total install time should be less than 20 minutes. All in all, I'd say this is a really good product. If all you want is the performance look and the aggressive sound, then get the axel-back version, otherwise spend the extra $200 or so and get the cat-back version for a little bit of extra high RPM power.
