My brother had a pair of SPL seperates in his pathfinder. decent treble but no midrange at all. the midrange drivers may as well not have been there. he just got mb quart q's and those blow the spl's out of the water. dont buy soundstream seperates!!!

Strength:

They sound awesome!!! I have the loudest system at high school because of these bad boys! My two SPL12's tend to piss my niehbors off. But it's all right, I don't like them anyways.

Weakness:

I haven't found anything not to like yet. Only thing that I would like to do now is get some more powerful amps because my two 250watt amps are strugling to keep up with the subs' demand for power.

All I have to say is GREAT SUBS!! Treat with respect at all times!!

Similar Products Used:

Not sure how they compare. My old speakers were a pair of Pioneer 10's and that doesn't even come close to what I have now.

Model Reviewed: You know my green exp. Youve heard it a mile or two away

Strength:

Ive got 2 Spl 160's in a sealed box running off a Soundstream Rubicon 10.2 in and explorer. Do you fools know how much harder it is to fill an explorer with bass. All you queers with little a!! Hondas and your 12 in subs that think you can bang because you only have to fill about 1/10th the space I do can eat it. Just because I dont feel like maxing out my pro line driver and shattering my rear window doesnt mean I wont outbang your weak systems anyday.

Weakness:

absolutly none

awesome sub, especially if youve got the power to run it
and if you got the hook up you can get em cheap

Similar Products Used:

all sorts of high end subs. and from what ive heard those audiobahn 360oz magnet subs suck they blow to easy and their 2in surround just suck up surface area that could be pushing more air

Strength:

Loud, Smooth, Look Dope, Sound Better.

Weakness:

NONE.

These sub are some of the best subs. I worked people who have kicker-Comp VRs, RockFord Fosgate, MTX, Audiobahn, JL audio, and Sony. These speakers are awsome. I have 2, but only have 1 hooked up in a .75 sealed box and I'm turning heads like crazy. I'm running them of a SoundStream Rubicom 702.
I allso have Soundstream SPL 6x9's and they rip. Don't wast your time with other brands go with SoundStream!!!!!!!!!!!!
