- Dual Voice Coils -- Two separate voice coils, allowing for different applications. The two voice coils can be wired in either series or parallel to better match the impedance of the woofer to that of the amplifier, for maximum power usage.- Aluminum Cone - Combines high stiffness with light weight, producing a cone that improves transient response while lowering distortion.
- Aluminum Center Heat Sink - Conducts heat away from the voice coil, and is further cooled by the motion of the woofer cone, allowing for better power handling capability.
- Die-cast Aluminum Frame - Combines strength with a non-magnetic structure, preventing the frame from excessive flexing during operation. More accurate reproduction results, due to the lower levels of distortion.
- Santoprene Surround - A speaker surround material constructed of santoprene rubber offering improved resistance to stretching.
