Strength:
Good bang for the buck, cool chrome center. Amp them within 100 watts of the RMS power and they will poun pretty good for the price. You wouldnt even know that these are cheap subs.
Weakness:
Don't sound that great at low bass. Really frappy. not much kick. If your willing to spend an xtra hundred bux or so a sub, i would definitley go up to the subs with the black/grey RF logo. Ive heard these being amped with a 501bd amp and they hit a clean 122 db These subs are not that bad of a sub for the money. I picked these up just to get my system started. Started them off running with a 301m in a very small truck box. They sounded HORRIBLE! so finally i got 2 boxes made to spec for these subs and upgraded to a 501bd amp. They sounded like the best subs i have ever heard for the money. Even beat my sis's 2 pioneer 800 watt subs. Similar Products Used: pioneer IMPP older models. If you go the pioneer premier series amped off the RMS wattage, you will blow these subs outta the sky |

Strength:
Good Bass Doesn't require too much of an amp to power it
Weakness:
None so far Haven't had this subwoofer for too long but so far so good. I used to have an 12" HE2 with DVC and this sub, although not a DVC model, does hit as hard. I am powering it with a 500w dual channel Rockford amp (451S). I believe it is wired for a 4 ohm load. Gotta say, I'm happy with it so far. Similar Products Used: Rockford Fosgate 12" HE2 DVC |
