The treated foam surround's large roll ensures maximum cone travel for deep, hard-hitting performance.

The durable and responsive polypropylene cone delivers clean, hard-hitting bass. The treated foam surround's large roll ensures maximum cone travel for bass that's deep and full. The vented back plate circulates air around the voice coils to keep distortion to a minimum.

If you're after system wiring flexibility, check out the 2-1/2" dual 4-ohm voice coils. And don't worry about air escaping — the innovative CONsealer gasket forms a perfect seal around the woofer frame and mounting surface even as it hides the mounting screws.

Strength:

Small and easy to place in any vehicle, very deep bass that sounds cleaner than most other subs I've heard, remains smooth and keeps low frequencies for a very long time.

Weakness:

The shiny reflective rockford logo on the cones gets fingerprints on it easily. Get a grille!

After careful consideration of several Rockford subs, I finally decided on this one. Well, two of these. They sound fantastic for being only ten inches each, as the bass they output is very deep and clean. My BT cd has never been reproduced this well. The bass is effortless to be fine tuned to your liking and can reach impressive lows and rivals many other brand's 12 inchers....just before the rockfords blow them away.

Strength:

Can handle 800 W of power. Gives you a nice back massage while driving and the ladies seem to like it too.

Weakness:

None yet :)

I've only used this sub for a few days but so far I'm impressed. I put this in a ported box and it pounds almost like there are two subs in the trunk of my 94' Grand Am.

Strength:

lot's of bang for the price. They can be wired any way you want them to be, and they can take it.

Weakness:

The looks i get from other cars at stop lights, and turning down the sound when you see a cop car.

I love this sub,the sound pounds your ears and your eyes. I have a JL audio 500/1 wired with a four ohm load.this is more than enough for my full size 94 chevy truck. The subs do a great job hitting the low bass and the high bass.
