Has very nice deep loud bass!
Weakness:
Ummm none yet hasn't given any problems. I bought this rockford fosgate speaker at a swap meet for ten dollars! It was in very nice good condition for the price I paid. It sounds really good in a sealed box with atleast 250 to 300 watts of clean non clipped power. It will shake your car and can be heard from quite a distance! Before these I had the old Rockford fosgate punch XLC subs in a .88cf sealed box those thumped crazy!! But these sound alot louder and deeper. I deffinetly recommend these subs! Much better than what's out now a days! Similar Products Used: Rockford fosgate punch XLC, Rockford fosgate punch DVC, Rockford fosgate punch HE, kicker cvr, kicker comp, |

The first guy that reviewd these is full of sh*t becuase im pretty sure if you bring it back to best buy 3 times they will give you a new product that is equal in value. And if the wires are buring out maybe you are feeding it to much power. |

Great price and awesome sound.
Weakness:
Lower RMS, can distort with some songs These Subs are an awesome deal for the money. They are huge and if u bridge them correctly they hit harder than I want them too sometimes. Just make sure you use the correct enclosure (1.25 cubic ft per sub) and also I would recommend a sealed box with these for best performance. |

Great for the money. Hit really hard.
Weakness:
Could go a little deeper. Needs to handle a little more power. These reviews are really helpful (if they are honest) and here is my honest opinion with no bias. I purchased these speakers from Best Buy ($62.54) each. For the money you won't find a better sub. The only hold 200W RMS, but if you have the right amp that does not matter. These subs hit really hard, I have three of them wired 2.67 ohms bridged to a Memphis CA300. Great Combinition if you can find this amp. You will not be disappointed with these subs, I promise! Just get the right amp to push them. Make sure they get the correct air space though (1.25 cubic feet I believe). Similar Products Used: MTX Thunder 5000's...The Punch HE's hit harder though. |

Strength:
-hit hard and deep
Weakness:
-distortion from certain kinds of bass Decent subs, better than the old xlc's. They hit pretty hare but they tend to distort at times. Still, with the right music they hit good and hard. Id say Im satisfied with them 75% of the time. I do like how they hit nice and deep for the most part but sometimes they just vibrate and it sounds bad. Ive got 2 12"s in a 3cubic foot sealed box, maybe theyd sound better in a little smaller enclosure, if theyd fit (the magnets on these things are huge). Similar Products Used: old xlc's- these definitely hit better, and they are of better quality (ie better cone, bigger magnet ect.) |

Sounds ok but doesn't help if the wires keep on burning out. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SUBS. After using the older punch XLC for a year I thought the 2001 models are gonna be just as durable. I've went to best buys at least 8 times just to exchange subs because the wires keeping on buring out and become defected. It's understandable if I only have to replace one sub or so. But in the past 6 month I've gone through about 8 subs. I go there to exchange subs so much that BestBuys are giving me a hard time when I bring it back for the service warranty. I don't know how much I can express my anger with this model subs. Besides I'm only using a punch 360a2 bridging at 4 ohms so that's not even maxing the subs out yet.
