low bass sounds good

doesnt hit highs for S#!T!

this subwoofer sucks!!!! It sounds fine at low play levels but when you turn it up it just sounds like crap. it gets all distorted and makes a craking noise. ive used mtx,jl,cove,bazooka, and polk and this is by far the worst. if you are looking for a cheap sub that sounds good, go with mtx or polk.

Need lots of power to knock, had 600 kenwood had to upgrade to 800 kenwood competition amp

I have 2 in an 3.0 cu. ft. box tuned to 35 hz, with a 800 watt kenwood, giving 235 rms to each sub and they rock. spl is great, and so is the sound quality. Can easily be heard over a mile away. anyone who says these subs suck are losers. you have to give them a minimum of 200 rms to get them bumping, and even more to get them knocking. don''t try to power these with a cheap amp because it won''t do these subs justice and cheap amps make any sub sound bad.they can easily handle their rated power and more. i have easily put rockfords best to shame with over 1000 watts less power, but don''t get me wrong rockford is better than pioneer, but pioneer can hold thier own. they hits very good to rock music, but with rap I can''t see to drive with it turned up because it''s so loud. hands down the hardest hitting system i''ve ever heard with 2 subs under 2000 watts . you have to give these subs lots of power and put them in a properly tuned ported enclosure. if you put them in a sealed enclosure your just robbing yourself from twice the amount of bass.i recommend 2 or more. if you have one i recommend mounting it backwards with the magnet on the outside of a ported box

i wonder is it 300rms ??? i dont think so.

i dunno , it is better then 303 . i am giving it 200rms from the amp and the box is pretty big .. like it is good enough for 2 woofers but i am using it for one .
