i bought two of these a month ago and hooked them up. they are by far the worst 15 inch subs i have ever had. i own a sound system shop outside of la so i have heard almost every sub out there and this is the equivalent to a sub from walmart. ive heard 10's that hit harder. as for the sound quality, that is what really took me back. i would've thought that even though they didn't have crap for power they would atleast have decent sound quality but when they hit, they aren't precise at all its like listening to the same note for the whole song. if you are paying this kind of money on 15s just stick with audiobahn immortal series or some jls.

the last guys and idiot... weak ass jl amp.. i got the sub the other day... Got it in a seald box n its hittin harder than my power hx2 thats in a 3.58cbft box. And its hitting just as hard as my juggernaut. got it power by a 1001bd and it suckn the juice right out of it and wants more

hi i was wonderin if someone could help me out here. i am gonna buy a system and i was wonderin if i should buy the orion h2 15d2 or the precision power dcx. and if i bought them would a ma audio hk4000d power it. see i want to buy the best sub so i need a little advice if you could write me at jannyjan_2000@yahoo.com i would greatly appreciate it. cause i am curious in my opinion i think the orion is better but i am jus tryin to b sure.

It Is really the worst sub I have ever put in my car. I have had 10's sound louder than this. I have used JL my whole life and, well, thanks to all of you wonderful people and your not so good reviews and ratings I decided to buy this "wonderful" 15 inch sub instead of getting another new JL. Well, here's the scoop: I hooked it up in series at 4 ohms to a JL 500/1 amp. (If it wasn't for the amp's great feature of bass slope adjustment I propably would have absolutely lost it, and been even angrier than I am now). I'm not exactly sure what all of you consider loud, but this is comparably to a friend of mine that put two 12" pyramids in his car. It has that really old beat-box terrible sound bass and it makes me sick. This sub has the worst sound quality and doesn't hit nearly as loud as my JL did. I have to say this experience was a big dissapointment. Now, I'm probably going to take a loss and sell this for less or try to get out of it what I can and stick with my first instinct. Everybody who rated this sub with more than 1 star ( one star for appearence) has a long way to come in the automtive audio industry. That is just my opinion. pretty much everything! a lot of people say they blow but mine has never and neither has my friends. I am sending about 710 watts from a punch power 500 to mine and orion says to only give it 600 so... you decide

to me, the 15 is a little weak on the sq part. but why would you get a hcca 15 for that anyway? i am sure with the right box, you could get it to sound good, another weakness i guess would be that it will prolly make you deaf after a while, maybe too loud.

my friend got a single 15, i have a single 10 inch. but the 15 is insane! i don't see how people can hev these things in their daily drivers. the 15 is so loud i can't even begin to explain it. Whatever orion is doing, they are gettin it done!!!

Hits very hard and seems nearly impossible to blow. I'm running an XS100 Kicker amp mono 1000 watts at 1.3 ohms and got the speaker to stink but will not blow!

I''m back! I finally got my second one in and holy ****. The first is breaking in and now can hit the high bass, too. The first second I put the both of them in my 79'' Lincoln Town Car, I blew my back window out. Talk about major poundage, These subs are loud and low. My friend is like," I have 2 Crossfire BMF 15"s and I am second loudest in Florida at 149 DB". I''m like," Thats it, My friends all hit on average 155 DB. They don''t enter any comps." He said that his 2 BMF 15" are going to blow my HCCA 15"S away, but that is alot of BS. So we tested the both of them and geuss who was louder? He hit a little 146 DB. I hit 154 DB and the second one isn''t even broken in. I can wait to hear them when broken in.

Thick cone and surrounding, heavy, voice coils going directly underneath the cone instead of into the cone, dual 2 ohm voice coils, big magnet, moves alot of air, very powerful. The lower the frequency, the louder it gets.

It is a very good 15" subwoofer. Hits louder and lower than my 4 15" solobarics. That is just one. I loved the solobarics to death, but this thing puts them into shame. The more watts I put into it the louder and clearer the sound gets. I have 750 watts rms going to it and keeps getting louder with every extra watt put into it. Very impressed with the sound quality because it is a competition sub and gets very loud and sounds so good at high volumes. The lower the frequency gets, the louder the sub gets. Doesn''t get distorted at high volumes. Great buy when you have a hook up. Only thing that can compare is the cerwin vega stroker and the juggernaut, but they sound like crap at low volume and don''t hit all the beats and the HCCA hits louder. Getting another one in a week or two. Can''t wait!

hi! i use 4 15" orion xtr, and one hcca 275g4 amp and hit 152db''s before,now i get two 15" hcca,and 2 hcca 275g4 and hit 156.5bd''s, but man!!!!! this things are loud!!!!!!! the best sub on the marked!! ORION HCCA THE BEAST!!!!AND THE BEST.
