Strength:

Price. At the time I was short on money and wanted two 10" subs. I didn't get DVC because it would have caused me to run a 1ohm load. You can't find a better sub for $75 a piece. Can handle a decent 200W rms and 400watts max.

Weakness:

Made out of foam surround and paper (poly) woofer. Can't handle the power my mtx 250d can cleanly push hard. Need a bandpass box for maximum SPL.

I would reccomend these subs to the audio enthusiast on a budget. People that just want SQ will love them too, for the price. Your not gonna win SPL competitions with them though.

Beats out any $80 sub hands down. MTX 4000 and such subs don't even compare.

Strength:

hits hard, sound quality

Weakness:

low power handling because of weak design

I used one of these in a sealed box. WOW I never thought it would sound as good as it does. this subwoofer really hits well and sounds great. All of my friends were impressed with how this really cheap costing sub sounded. The one problem is that this sub really cant handle much power. I noticed that around 5 to 600 watts you can here the sub start to break down. This was just a test because the sub was free. But over all this is a good subwoofer for the cost. It lasted well over a full year of punishment and testing.

rockford power dvc 10's, it doesnt come close to hitting as hard as the rockfords, but the sound quality is almost the same
