Strength:
Great bass! Can hold up to high power amps well.
Weakness:
None so far. I paid $85/each for these subs (I got two of them). I have a them running off of a Soundstream amp, and they sound great! I wouldn't mind adding two more of these subs to my system. They sound great on rap and rock music (that is what I use them for anyways). For the price I paid for them, I thought I couldn't go wrong, and I was right!! Great subs overall. 1999 MTX T7104
Strength:
The MTX THUNDER 7000 SERIES ARE THE BEST SUBS ON THE PLANET.
Weakness:
Nada thing. I was fortunate enough to pick up a pair of the T7104's for only $115 each - paid in greenbacks on the spot. One just can't resist buying subs that weigh more than his little sister. I run the two 4 ohm subs at a 2 ohm load in a custom-made ported enclosure with a Precision Power PC 1400($450) monoblock amp. At 12.5 volts, the subs get 200 watts each. My battery runs at 14.2 volts, so my subs get around 260 watts each. I'll tell you how good these subs are. I've set off three car alarms from a half a block away running at 60% volume. Seriously. Strength:
Pretty good bass and only requires a small sealed box
Weakness:
Needs a lot of power to really bring this sub to life I got mine for only $100 so thats a pretty good deal. Its a good sub but as I said b4 it needs a lot of power to get decent excursion. If you don't put 300+ watts into it you may be in for a dissapointment. Overall a good performer if powered corectly but definatly no the best on the market. Strength:
THESE SPEAKERS ROCK! GREAT BASS thye never miss a beat. Always hit the high and low bass. These subs can really move
Weakness:
none that I can See I have 2 of these hooked in in the back of my car and there nothing like them. If you don't have enough power going to them u may notice a drop in poformance but hook up around 500 WATTS and they'll be unbeatable. If you really want great solide sound put them in a sealed box but to notice a huge different put them in a ported box and they'll kick almost twice as much. Overall great subs especially for the price Similar Products Used: Some kicker Subs but MTX still Sounds better |
