Model Reviewed:
2000
Strength:
Build, poly cone w/ thick rubber surround, magnet/basket structure w/ input push terminals. Price is reasonable.
Weakness:
Not as loud as expected(especially in a sealed box). Need 500w+ rms power to play it. Do away with the ''tacky'' red/white sticker on the magnet, and a better logo on the dustcap would do more justice for this sub. Hits lows very clean(due to its large motor/magnet structure). I think it sounds better in vented, rather than the required sealed enclosures. It''s a very heavy speaker that''s solidly built, however, it is not as sonically accurate as my 15w3, and not as loud. And I do prefer subs with rubber surrounds for responsiveness and attack. Similar Products Used: JL 15w3, CMP 15, RFD2215 HX2, Orion HCCA 15(clean & loud) |
