Weakness:
Not Dual Voice Well i have them bridged to a 280 mtx amp and let me tell you! i didnt expect this subs to hit as hard as they did! mine are 400 watts a piece and i had them bridged. then i hooked them up to a 600 watt boss amp an there really wasnt any comparison. the mtx is better i think. these were my first subs ever bought and overall i am impressed an satisafed. Happy Customer forever. Similar Products Used: 10inch Power Acoustik Fubar 1800 Watt Subs!!! |

Strength:
Looks great and sounds clean.
Weakness:
Distortion at high volume levels, but, of course, this is to be expected from such an inexpensive sub. Surround will indefinitely deteriorate at some point, although i could buy a new one each year easily. Also, Sony Xplods, a similar model with higher specs, can be found for relative prices. I am not one for useless numbers and audio jargon. I bought this subwoofer for its simplicity, aesthetic appeal, and price. Of course I would be unaware of its sound quality before purchase, as would most other people; however, I have no regrets. It sounds great while listening to music at realistic levels. 1990''s some time
Strength:
they''re alright if you like good looking crap
Weakness:
Many, they are very slow sounding woofers (high step rate and group delay) they''re very high FS of 38 Hertz makes them unusable for almost every application other then Spl, such as a bandpass box, which would make them sound even worse. They have little excursion which makes them Unusable for sealed cabinites These subs are only suitable for ported with a 35 liter cabinet or bandpass, these are absolutely terrible for any thing else. Other enclosures such as Sealed, or diploe, or infinate baffel Similar Products Used: rockfords bottom of the barrell subs, shaker, pyramid, jensen ( which is better by far actually) |

2000 Kenwood medium enclosure 10's
Strength:
Great frequency range with clear, accurate bass. High spl with lower need of power.
Weakness:
The surround could be a better than foam. These subs kick ass. For the price they can't hardly be beat. They only require 130 watts rms, so they save money on the amp. I have a Profile Jam series 400.4 pushing them. They get around 150 watts apiece. The amp runs cool, the subs slam, and I am a happy consumer. Buy them from Crutchfield or Circuit City when they are buy one get one free. Whether u just want good bass or want a fairly loud system, these subs satisfy. Similar Products Used: These subs will give Thunder 4000's a run for their money. For nearly 100 watts less in rms they beat thunder 4000 10's. |

Strength:
THE KENWOOD KFC-W2502 IS DESIGNED WITH STUNNING LOOKS AND A WIDE RANGE OF FREQUENCY RESPONSES.
Weakness:
WHEN I REACH HIGH LEVELS OF VOLUME AROUND 100 WATTS THE SUBWOOFER STARTS TO MAKE A BOUNCING KINDA CRACKLING SOUND.TO MANY THIS SUBWOOFER IS A PIECE OF CRAP BUT GUESS WHAT THE KENWOOD KFC-W2502 CAN STAND UP TO HIGH VOLUME AND FINDING A BOX IS NOT DIFFICULT. SIMILAR PRODUCTS WOULD BE PLANET AUDIO AND MTX 10" SUBWOOFERS. I PAID $100.00 CANADIAN, I WOULD RECOMENED THIS SUB. THAT SOUND IS THE LEAST OF MY WORRIES. THE THING I WORRY MOST ABOUT IS BREAKING MY CAR! Similar Products Used: I'VE USED SONY XPLOD SUBWOOFERS AND THE SAME THING HAPPENS BUT WITH THE SONY THE CRACKLE IS LESS NOTICEABLE BECAUSE IT IS IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE. |

Weakness:
the RMS is a little low its 120watts but i put 200 in easily the noise i had before with these subs was the box.......these subs hit soo hard that they blew all of the sealant out of the box and broke my terminal cups......even when i had 2 ports instead of one. Similar Products Used: i've used sony's pioneer's rockford fosgate's they dont compare |
