Really loud, tight, deep sounding bass reproduction (sealed box works best with them). Great SPL and SQ from the same package. Huge motor and magnet assembly, thick, high-roll surround for high Xmax.

None, just a little power hungry compared to other subs.

Well, I recently wrote a reveiw here for a pair of GTO1041's that I had bought, but I ended taking them back and exchanging them for a pair of GTO1081's. I did this so that I could run my amp into 4 ohms mono, and get the most slam from the subs as my little clarion can muster. Well, after changing to a different sub configuration, and making things easier for my amp, I've found that my 10's hit even louder than the 4 ohm versions I had before. They also play deeper and just have more sheer intensity. Basically, they do everything my 1041's did, but better (all likely due to being driven with higher power). I still need to get a bigger amp to drive them with, and I think I might consider buying a BP600 or BP1200 amp from Jbl to drive them. I'm really pleased with my purchase, and I find that the subs blend really well with my front and rear speakers (JBL GTO and Power series). I'd reccomend these subs to any of my friends, all of whom are really impressed with how good a little sealed box with 2 of these tens can sound. I don't think anybody has as good a sub as these for the money. JBL is the best value out there, NUFF said.

Loud, Loud, Loud subs. Strong subs that dont flex that much having 1000watts run to them.

These subs dont have any weaknesses if you ask me.

I have four of these 10's running off a Zapco AG1000 amp and i hit a mind blurring 158dbls in a Explorer! For these subs being so cheap there isnt anything that can touch these subs price wise. These subs have great lows for being 10's, i was impressed.

I have one in a 2002 tundra access cab, i've owned my share of subs in the past and these are by far the best SOUNDING subs i've used and when i wanna show off these subs can really POUND, i am running a jbl 600.1 amp and it matched it perfectly...sounds great

8 ohms so the bridging multiple subs isnt a problem. They max out at 1000 watts and I beleive it, the longer I have them the more power I''ve had to give them. Bass response is excellent they play low notes very well which is suprising for a ten.

Keeping my mirror straight, and my car from rattling. Other than that absolutely nothing.

I purchased these subs about six months ago and they have been some of the best all around subs for the price I have experienced. I have 3 of them in a "small" sealed box (.75 Cubic feet each) and they have done nothing but blow away just about everybody. I have some friends who have purchased Fosgate HE2 12''s, Kenwood Excelon 12''s, JL audio 10''s & 12''s, and none of them are even compareable. The fosgates were close but considering he had paid more for one then I paid for all three says it all. I have all three bridged to a Kenwood 400 watt amp and the bass is too much at times. If anyone is looking for some absolute ass kickers for a cheap price there is no comparison really I think. By the way they are not just all bass either the quality is exceptional (just remember that JBL is a Harmon Kardon company which also makes Infinity so alot of the features found on Infinity Products you will find on JBL).
