Strength:
Great Tight Bass for all kinds of music from Rap to Rock to Classical to latin. Cheap price
Weakness:
gets a lil distored when pushed way hard What more could you ask for from this ten I mean this thing has great sound quality. I have it in a sealed Q Logic Box made for a fosgate 10". The Boz is a Lil' big for the Sub, but it has no prob pushing that much air. The thing is running 360 watts and everyone who sits in my car thinks I have two 12". It might be that I have a Hatchback, all I gottas say is this sub can hit Similar Products Used: Kicker 10's |

Strength:
Works very well in a small amount of airspace (.75ft^3 sealed and 1.25ft^3 ported). Can handle a good amount of power for it''s size.
Weakness:
Not a weakness, but could definitely be a slight improvement. This woofer lacks screw down type terminals. It uses slide on spade terminals instead. A a sub that''s great for both sq and spl. I have these hooked up to a JBL BP1200.1 in 1 ohm configuration. They are in a 1.25ft^3 of airspace each and are ported. Needless to say that these things bump VERY, VERY well. With the help of a subsonic filter, these things have very minimal distortion. An excellent sub for a very good price. I hghly recommend them if you have minimal space and want both sq and spl. 95 accord
Strength:
Great for a wide range of listening. Durable design, dual 40oz magnets, high sensitivity, solid deep bass. What more do you need from a dual voice coil 10 inch subwoofer?
Weakness:
none that i can think of now. I have two 10 inch dvc in a sealed box in back of a 95 accord. I run these speakers ragged. I listen to everything from Korn to Xzibit to Stevie Ray Vaughn to Sublime to Master P. These speakers can hit deep for rap and pucnhy for heavy music like Korn and Tool. In a sealed box make sure you use seperate chambers because at high volumes the bass tends to drown out as the speakers work against eachother, solution? Get a box with a partition between the chambers. Similar Products Used: Punch,Mtx,any other 10 inch sub |

Strength:
VERY TIGHT AND DEEP ( FOR A TEN ) IF PUT THE RECOMMENDED SEALED BOX.I DIDNT TRY THIS SUB IN A PORTED BOX ......OVERALL , A GREAT SUB FOR THE MONEY .....IF YOUR A SQ TYPE GUY WHO IS NOT A BASS HEAD.......I RECOMMEND THIS SUB
Weakness:
MUSHY AT HIGH VOLUMES........ BOUGHT THESE BECAUSE I WANTED TO COMPARE 2 10" SUBS IN A SEALED ENCLOSURE TO A SINGLE (VEGA,VEGA SERIES) 12" SUB IN A PORTED BOX.THESE JBL 1041'S ARE VERY TIGHT AND SONICALLY VERY ACCURATE AT MODERATE LEVELS . I GUESS IM JUST SPOILED BY THE SPL AND DEEP GROWL (LIKE A BIG DIESEL) THAT I GET FROM THE VEGA. EVEN THOUGH THE JBLS ARE MUCH TIGHTER THAN THE VEGA I THINK I'LL PUT THE VEGA BACK IN THE TRUNK (HONDA CIVIC).I GUESS IM SPOILED BY THE OOMPH I GET AT THE 40HZ RANGE FROM THE VEGA , BUT THEN AGAIN, ONE DOESNT BUY TENS FOR THAT.AGAIN, I WANTED TO COMPARE THE TIGHTNESS OF 2 TENS TO THE DEEP AND LOUD VEGA ........ ALTHOUGH THE VEGA IS A LITTLE SLOPPY AT CERTAIN FREQUENCIES........I CANT GO BACK TO "AVERAGE " LOW END ...... Similar Products Used: VEGA ,AUDIOBAHN , AND IVE HEARD COUNTLESS OTHERS...........JBL BEATS THEM ALL IN THE SQ DEPARTMENT ,EVEN JL |
