They had the car for 2 weeks then we find out it was a part that was recalled. Here is the other great news, it was not warrantied after the recall. $1000 to repair a part that was faulty...hmmmm let me think about that NO! regardless, reefer unit repair

I recently bought one of these subs for my Eclipse Hatchback running 300w to it in a sealed box powered by a Sony xplod 760w Amp. This thing has rattled loose my trunk compartments, blasted open the rear speaker grill in a matter of hours after i installed it!!

Ok, I have 3 of these GTi1200s in a custom built box in my truck, ran from a 400watt Marc Anthony amp (down to 1.3ohms). These subs are awesome, nothing else out there holds a candle to them, for shear SPL or Sound Quality, they rock.

Why use anything but the best?

Lots of deep low end bass. nice looks....great design....ive hooked up a 1200 watt amp to this 600 watts JBL....no distortion or bottoming out.

requires a big box...but i have found a way and design to make this speaker fit anywere....even under your bed in your house

This is no doubt one of the best ive had. This speaker is my most favorite. I have had a Crunch, Pro Series, Road Gear, Pioneer IMPP freeair, Urban Audio, and even a Mobile Authority. This JBL i have is similar to the one listed. Mine is a JBL GTi 1000 World Competition subwoofer at 600 watts RMS..100 peak. All those others i had were 12"s .....i have a 10" JBL....there is no doubt that i can beat almost any sub with this

THIS IS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT THE BEST SPEAKERS EVER PRODUCED!!!! I had 8 1200 GTi''s on 8 Zeus VIII... These things produce very low bass and low distortion... i would highly reccomend this speaker.....

The dude Hockey or whatever dont know jack about these speakers.. SON you cant push a little 60 watt jensen amp on these babies and expect to hear a great deal... u need a big enclosure for it though ... but its worth it

These speakers are mad!!!!!!!! I had 8 of the 1200 GTi''s running and 8 Hifonics series 8 zeus amps in a 1995 Chevy Surburban.. I built a 3.0 cubic ft box for each speaker and they still sound loud and have a deep low bass...These speakers cannot compare to the Strokers... i seriously think strokers are good but the Gti outstands more and had no distorion.. I have entered in 11 competitions and all 11 i have one 1st place so far... these speakers are GREAT!!!

THIS SPEAKER IS THE BEST will make Cerwin vega stroker look like B.S i truley think these speakers are the best ever made.. i had 8 of the older model GTi ''s running and 8 Hifonics Zeus series 8. the are very nice speakers with NO distortion at all.. i had to build a 2.8 cubic ft box for it though...(this is for each speaker) i had them in a surburban and they won all of my competitions

Produce the highest decible I have seen in a car speaker. Its more like a club or concert speakers. Just the best.

The need a big azz box. I had to get one custom built to fit the small trunk of my Corrado.

These subs win competitions. No doubt that jbl is the best in the speaker business. The have made a couple of blunders by producing the GTO and the Lound & Clear subs but these are nothing like it. They, including the 15000gti are based on the 2225h which is used in professional JBL speakers, which are used in concert, so you know that they are lound. These are not banpass speakers so dont be suprised when you put them in one. Up until now I have never seen any better speakers then these. The ones that come close to it are the Cerwin Vega Strokers

produce real high spl and loud deep bass than any other speaker i've heard.. this speaker has very lttile or no distortion at all.. it just keeps on crying for more power...real bass!!

i'm a big jbl fan.. no doubt about it. the first time i heard these speakers, my jaw dropped, this was back in 1994. i went and bought two the very next day after i heard them. i curently own the same pair and i'm looking for two more. this speaker is for people who are really serious about autosound. reffering to another add, " these speakers win competitions" and yes they really do... i've competed 4 times and won all four competitions. the only competing speaker that i 'ive heard is the cerwin vega stroker.. but i still think that the gti's sound better... and look better!

before i forget, check out the new gti's u got to hear them..!
