ideal for small enclosures extremely loud realitively cheap

if there are any i haven't found them yet

i have two of the sw6123dvc thir roughly 500 watts max each. im pushing them with an xtant titanium series amp that puts out 800 watts max at 2 ohms at 1 chanel. these are two of the loudest twelves i've ever heard. the first day i had them one of my tech teachers for scholl asked me and another student to bring in our cars for a demostration on db's i pushed 146 db's and the other kid only pushed 132 with 4 kicker comp vrs that were fully powered. on that note all i can say is if you want bang for your buck buy these subs and you wont be dissapointed.

Absolutely amazing for a 10" sub. Rivals most any 12" I've heard. Doesn't reproduce ultra low notes, but it is a 10".

these things are beautiful. they sound amazing too! the sound quality is awesome, the deep bass extension is great, and they are loud as hell! i have yet to try a sub that impresses me this much. i cant think of one complaint with this thing.

They have increadable amount of deep bass. they sound really good in my 1.6 si.

The weight could become a problem but i am not that bothered when they sound that good.

Where to start, they look good, they sound good, they impress many. the sound quality is amasing the bass is even better and they look so impressive.

I purchased 2 15'' eclipse subs for my car and they are the best sounding ive ever heard. im currently running a true 1000 watt jl amp and it still doesnt begin to push the speakers

besides how much power they need.(but if you can afford nice enough amps to push these i suggest these subs.)

i got two twelve inch eclipse speakers. i think there 1500 watts a piece or something. I got them off my friend who lost his license for a WHILE so i got both of them for 200 and i got a 100 watt kenwood amp but it aint really even close to enoguh to push these.im looking to get two eclipse amps to go with it. but these subs are awesome. it actually hurts if you sit in the car.

BUY >>BUY >BUY....thats all i have to say ...eclipse subs has such clarity its rediculous..I have two 15 and they pump so hard and so good its hurts ..no mind you i have tried a few subs, as well as the group i hang with ..all my freinds are jelous of the clairy and BUMP of these subs!!! pure audio quality at its best!!!!!!

Beautiful sub. Well built. Sounds awesome and hits very hard in the right enlclosure.

What weaknesses?

I have an eclipse 10" aluminum subwoofer (svc 4 ohm). It is installed in a 1 cu.ft. downfiring sealed enclosure in a ?Toyota Tacoma x-cab. It replaced a 8 ohm mtx blue thunder extreme subwoofer. After listening to it for several days now, it is very similar to the mtx sub as far as overall rating. But it really beats the mtx out in spl simply because the 4 ohm rating, I guess. Overall, I am very satisfied and impressed with this sub. It is accurate, and plays loud with no distortion. I should mention that it is fed by a 400 watt Orion amp. So keep in mind, in a sealed enclosure it is very power hungry. This sub will hang with any similar sub out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MTX Blue Thunder Extreme - I can't say anything negative about this sub because it is pretty awesome, too. I only bought the eclipse because the MTX was an 8 ohm sub.

Buy an eclipse, but make sure it's a HIGH END sub, or just buy an OLDER Soundstream (company was bought out by Coustic or something a while back)

low end Eclipse suck

I had an entry level 150watt Eclipse 12". Actually I had 2. the first one came factory defective with crossed (-+) woofer connections which shorted out the amp. The second one blew apart- woofer came apart from the spider. During the 3 months or so I ran Eclipse, they were the most deep and beautiful sounding subs I've had, however they can't handle the truth (BASS!). I've now been running a Soundstream rubicon 12" for the last 3 years, and I can't fu#k that thing no matter what. I can play a bass CD at maximun balls and it's like a kick in the back.
