only an average sounding sub that can handle more power

Garbadge, does not even come close to a W7 in sq, and the W7 has just as much SPL if not more and I powered it from the same 1000/1 JL amp I use for my 12 W7. If you think this sub is even WORTHY of being in a comparison with a W7 you should be shot in the face.

Big ass magnet Big ass surround Big ass bass

None whats so ever. This thing will not even distort at high volume levels. I had it connected to a mtx thunder 1501D. 1 15 was shaking the roof on my 98 tahoe and shaking the hell out of my bak seats. I was affaid to put the windows up and blast it because it will make you go deaf no Joke!

DAMN this sub hits hard. I have this sub in a 4.0cu.ft sealed box and it hits hard. It even made my eyes water form so much bass. 1 15 will hit harder than most pair of 15's. This sub will hit harder than the jl audio w7. Just get this sub and you won't be disapointed. The guy right below me had the 10" sub. get the 15 in a big box and it will f#$in hit hard. I going to get 2 more 15 to make it 3 and with 3 mtx thunder 1501D mono amps. It sounds hell of deep and will go low as you can get it to go.

need bigger box to boom more!(JL W6 can boom more with less space) the magnet thread that holds the magnet to the woofer basket!!!(a big dissapointment!!!)

the sub was great! sounded good but wasn't that loud. it might of been the box. i had it in a 1.25cu.(eclipse recommend) I would suggest for everybody go with a bigger box, Deeper bass and louder! Now here is the problem! the magnet fell off the woofer basket! because of the threads that was glued on to the magnet! instead of making it one piece! so now i'm out of commission! i contacted the eclipse dealer, they said that it's not under warranty. it will cost $100.00 or more to fix it and it wouldn't be under warranty when they return it.

lets paint a picture; at a sound competition in ontario im sitting there. last years winner is doing there sound run and i decide to do somthin fun like show him up "styles". I open my driver side window grab my remote turn my car on select i nice track like techno bass walk away from the car and turn up the volume slowly. I was told to turn it down when itz not my turn and i kept rasin the volume no every one is looking over at me and i still go loader drowning out the last years winner then all of a sudden..... boooooooooooom! everyones jaw drops to the ground. my front window cracked my back window passenger side window to rear windows blow out of the car. I won the competition and got enough money to replace my windows 2-12" 1-15" 8-8" $3200 7 amps $5600 specaily designed box $240 95 dodge Neon RT $5500 new windows $1200 189 db's and parcail hearing loss: Price less For everything else there is Master Card

Awesome excursion, neverending low bass

$$$ and weight (for racing), but there are ways around that (weight reduction)

This is by far the best sub I have ever heard, the excursion is amazing, I am powering it with a Rockford 1500bd and it pounds!!! With the window rolled up and the bass blasting, if you hold up a lighter, the flame flickers like hell. But they are not indestructable, after about 4 months, I ended up tearing the entire foam surround on the sub

This speaker knocks, no doubt about it. i have two rockford fosgate bd501's and two 15" eclipse aluminums in a 2000 tahoe. I followed the spec sheet for my power handling and im pretty sure it can handle more. I have a 1.5 cubic feet sealed box. I'm working on a 5-6 ft cubic feet ported box. i highly recommend these speakers to anyone who enjoys luxury. these are top of the line best u can get. the next in line is the titaniums (being the best of all).
