Crisp bass probably helped by enormous box body jaring to say the least WHO NEEDS A MASSUER WHEN THE SRM3008'S ARE ON THE JOB

AS SAID ALREADY BY OTHERS VERY POWER HUNGRY BUT MY SET UP IS MORE THAN AMPLE WHICH IS NOT REALLY A WEAKNESS IS IT. WHO DOESN'T WANT MORE POWER?

I bought a 97 KIA MENTOR not the fastest car but certainly a cruiser come with the works 16" alloy mags, lowered king springs, 3" sports exhuast with a 5" dump pipe (thats where the power has been lost down low!) anyway- the Audio department does'nt lack punch. At my fingertips a Pioneer Mosfet45w x 5 headunit , next to me are 2 6" splits behind are 2 6x9 320W kenwoods and the faithful,Boxed the size of the boot 12" Clarion Subs totaling 1000W of unadulterated bliss powered by bridged AudioBahn amps (WARNING; WILL CAUSE DEAFNESS)

unique, NO ONE buys clarion subs. ususally for good reason, but these things are descent. crisp response, decent power handling for the $$$.

there''s always somethin bigger that you want more. you have to put up with all the "why the hell''d you buy clarion?" comments...to which you reply to all those rockfordfuzzballs and al-peni''s: *increase volume here*.

paid $134CDN (thats about $90 for you yanks) needed somethin to get me off the ground, looked like a good place to start. got''em (2) powered by a kenwood728 300rms, way under powered (2 can handle 500rms), but the kenwood pulls it''s weight. surpassed all my expectations for a starter set. fairly tight, clean response, especially in an open environment (back of a blazer), shake me silly. like i said, great starters, i''m in no hurry to upgrade, plan on hookin ''em tp to the kenwwod929 amp (460w rms), see if i can do some damage

Hit very hard. Can handle enormous amounts of power. Work best in sealed 45ltr boxes. Go as low as you want. They won't rip your head off, they'll just slowly pulverise you to death.......

Thirsty for power.

I own two of these in my daihatsu charade centro. They provide more than adequate amounts of throbbing bass, to my likings. I think a bass sweep @ 30 htZ will see these perform sick!!!!!

Buy if can get cheap!!!!

well i would almost wrather have the 15 inch jl w0 that i heard over the 3 clarion 12s i heard. all those subs i listed are far better then clarion subs. these are one of the worst subs i have heard. there not bad for my bud cause he gets a huge deal. i think hes paying like 75 bucks a sub canadian for them. you put like4 or 5 12s and you got a decent system. the 3 jl w3s i heard just ripped the clarions to shreds. but there also like 150 canadian more a sub. if you can get a deal like my bud can get then there good.

Fast Hard Punch. After 2 weeks of using a PPI amp, i shattered my rear wind shield and it got replaced under insurance coverage. was on Yonge Street and a cruiser was behind the car directly behind me. He was gonna give the car behind me a ticket for rear ending me. I instead got a ticket for mischief and disturbing the peace. I am also buying the clarion 32", replacing the spare tire with it to make waves in the gas tank !!! hopefuly my car will explode this time.
