sounded good while they lasted

the pieces on the back that connect the voice coil to the spaeker terminal kept on coming off on both ends.

I bought 2 audiobahn awc 10's and had them hooked to and audiobahn 275HCX high current amp. I bridged the subs and ran them in parallel creating a 1 ohm load, pushed the subs pretty nicely conidering they have a 400 rms rating per speaker and i was only pushing 600 to the pair. I had them in small sealed truck boxes and after about a week one stopped playing and when i pulled the speaker out of the box smoke poured out every where. Upon further inspection i noticed that the voice coil had came un wound and while the speaker was moving the voice coil crossed over the vent hole and the well just say it don't work no more or move what so ever. As for the other subs with only running 150 watts to it one of the voice coils blew, but one side of it still works.

Very well manufactured. Would look really sweet in a plexiglass box. I couldn''t get it to bottom out!

The fact that it is a 10 prevents it from getting the really low notes. The excursion is also a little short.

This is a very tight little sub. It hits hard yet has really clean sound. It has fooled just about everyone that rides in my truck--they think its two 10''s or one 12. For the money, I would say it''s one of the best 10''s.

I gets very hot. You need to make sure it has good ventalation. If polyfill is used dont get it too close to the sub, it will hurt the voice coil.

They are good for the money but you need to let them cool down before you use them again.
