Audiobahn AW-1200 Subwoofers
Audiobahn AW-1200 Subwoofers

Strength:
Quality construction; huge surround and magnet. Loud and doesn't distort with 800 RMS running to it. Sounds great. Just one will embarrass people with a trunk full of subs.
Weakness:
Realizing you spent more before for a worse sub. This sub is a great one for the money. It will outperform subs costing way more. It is built like a brick. People turn when they hear me coming, and that's with only one 12. Sounds like I have a lot more than I do. Similar Products Used: Infinity, JLs, other overpriced subs. |

Strength:
It's 700 rms. Very hard to blow. They do not disort when turned up right with the right cut offs and drop offs. Naturally if you try and send higher than 700 hz to it it will sound like dog. It beats all the other main stream crap.
Weakness:
Some times, does not always sound right with rock and roll music. But That's what a Pioneer DEH P7200R IS FOR ;-) Love them dolphins! Cheap, (When I say cheap I only mean the price.) They are made with quality, all subs are shipped in there own crates. The hit hard, loud, deep, clear, soft, high, mid, you name it this can do it. Just adjust your amps and equalizers right. Similar Products Used: The only other sub I have ever seen beat an audiobahn AWT12 is an Atomic Thunder. But it cost about 3k, so why not just go to ebay and get the awt34 :-). Rockfords and orions bow down. Cerwins of any type cringe, and pioneer, kicker, and memphis, run in terror. |

Audiobahn awp 312 piston Sub
Strength:
Very powerful sub. Gets louder than any other audiobahn out there
Weakness:
Lose some sound quality when maxing the sub. I paid 500 for 2 12subs. These are pretty sweet and will get plenty loud. I recomend them if your into spl competitions. Similar Products Used: not much to compare with |

Strength:
It's an incredible sub. Does have some bottoming.
Weakness:
The bottoming , apparently. Not much else tho. Oh yeah the size! They aren't actually 12" subs, more like 12.35" subs. I spent 103 each....I would definitely recommend it.. Similar Products Used: RF XLCs..the AWs beat them though. |

AW1805
Strength:
Strengths...strengths, o, size, weight, power handling, 2" surround, deep bass, loud bass, best bass for the buck
Weakness:
size (but that's a good thing), it leaves no competition left (good thing too) I bought an 18" Audiobahn sub and it kicks ass!!! I have a Q21800 Power Acoustik amp pushing it. It hits deeper than anything, it makes my dash board jump in my '62 Mercury Comet hoopty. It's in a 2.8 cu. ft. box with the amp mounted to it. I found out that you NEED polyfill in your box. The whole ordeal weighs about 90 lbs.! It's the type of bass that hurts my head after a few minutes of serious pounding. I beat all systems around. I've never heard bass hit so low before and rattle my spark plug wires when the car's not even running. It's so deep that sound travels forever, my friends hear me coming for several minutes until I actually pull up to their house. I don't recommend having more than 1 18" unless you're going for SPL in competition. If you do go competition I'd recommend 2 AW1805X subs. Warning: excessive usage may cause hearing damage, and I've proven it. Similar Products Used: JL 12W3 (2), 12" vegas |

Wow, linear, linear, linear! And did I say loud? I have three ALUM10's (two in a 4runner, one in an older BMW) and man, I am only giving them 170 watts-they still cook! And talk about musical! They hit EVERY note with perfection and balance! No note is louder than any other, and this thing will clean out a 20 hz sweep with ease at over 130 db.
Weakness:
Um, the cone dents if you aren't careful about how you install it, but other than that, nothing! Well, maybe I would like to have the ALUM12's instead. (Hey Audiobahn, how about ALUM15's?!) Um, the Audiobahn surprisingly blows away the Eclipse aluminum subs, and the only thing that comes close to the Audiobahn's accuracy and SPL are the Kappa Perfects. And for $100 a piece, the Audiobahn's REALLY kick everybody's you know what. So treat yourself to one or two or ten of these subs-you will not be disappointed! Similar Products Used: Kicker Solobaric, JL Audio 12W3, 10W6, 15W0, Soundstream SPL12, Infinity Kappa Perfect, Diamond Motorsport 12, MTX Thunder 5000 and 6000, Xtant M series, MCM Aluminum 12, Eclipse 8810,6 and 8815.6, too many more to list! |

Strength:
Looks awesome. Sounds incredibly loud. Very long excursion
Weakness:
The aluminum dents easily if you put your finger on it when the sub is moving which is stupid anyway First of all, don't be stupid and say that the aw1200 is better than the alum just cause you have one cause it's not. I'm not saying that the aw12 isn't a good sub, it is great and has a larger surround, but the alum just sounds more precise and is louder. The chrome makes it look like an eclipse which is good and the writing isn't all that bad. This sub really knocks though, unscrewed my rearview after like 5 minutes and gives my ears that itchy feeling all the time. makes absolutely everything in my car rattle. It's very precise and loud. i'm hitting high 30's with only one and only 210rms! I've ordered the other one and am gonna be playing 450 rms to each. Just wait till then and you'll all hear me comin Similar Products Used: JL Audio, Fosgate, Infinity, kicker solos |

Awsome subs, cant be beat, extream bass, and have good SQ
Weakness:
Hurt your ears and make people mad for having such great subs at a low price Dont listen to the people giving bad reviews. Most of them are probly stuck up little rich boys that went out and got some $600 subs, only to be out done by some one who spent $200 on audiobahns and out did them. As you can tell i have used a wide range of audiobahns, each as good as the last. I even buy them from online sellers that i know for, friends or who ever wants some good subs. All of the audiobahns i have had have been pritty much flawless. Well i did get one in thats bascket was crcked, but that was from Bad S/H. But any how, every one loves thees subs that hears them, buys them, or sees them. its wierd that you will see a review go from "best subs ever", to "never buy them they suck." The people giving bad reviews are probly are the rich boys im talking about but in some cases things do go rong. Similar Products Used: you can compare, but audiobahn will always have them out done |
