Hit hard and clean LOW PRICE!!! Eye candy!
Weakness:
Audiobahn Haters on the message boards will flame you! But Who cares! Made in china...but reap the benifits in price! I'm running two of these Audiobahn AW1000Q'S. I had them in a 1.3cu ft ported box tuned to 29hz powered by a Kenwood 7521 for 230w RMSx2 @ 2ohms and they hit harder and clearer than the JL audio's that were in the box. I've since build a Sealed box .52 cu Ft per sub and I'm pushing them @ 600w RMS @ 1ohm mono with a Concept CCD-1200. They handle it all and thump hard! SQ isn't stellar but Dang good for a couple subs only costing 80 each shipped!!! Similar Products Used: JL audio W4, MTX Road gear, Kicker comp, Bazooka RS104 |

NONE THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS The best speakers i have ever experienced. I have one single ten in my 240 volvo with a 400 watt ultra linear amp pushing it, and every time i pull people ask me "what kind of 12'S do u have" and to thier amazment it is only a single ten on a 400 watt amp, just imagine what it would sound like on a 700 watt amp? Hard hitting bass and little distortion.
Weakness:
Having to break them in. I bought one of these and put it in my regular cab chevy C-1500. After two weeks of breaking them in, they sound great. They hit hard and can make your windows rattle. Similar Products Used: Memphis power bass(which blew quickly) and Fosgate Power HX2 |

Sound deep and have very little distortion. Out hit any other 10's I have ever heard.
Weakness:
Are kind of big and had to find a special truck box to fit them in my truck. I heard about these subs from a friend who had 2 cerwin vega 15's and he replaced those with 3 of these 10's. I have to of these in 6.5 cubic ft. truck boxes and am pushing them with a bridged 300 watt crossfire amp (will be getting a bigger amp soon). I have only had these for about 2 weeks and am still breaking them in. They sound better than my brother's 2 JL WO 10's. I recomend these to anyone |

Weakness:
need a quality power amp with power to burn. if you think you are going to run these with a pyramid or legacy, don't say these woofer's suck when they don't hit hard. to have a rough estimate of if your amp has a strong power supply and really delievers the power it says, look at the fuse(s) on the side of the amp. my mtx has three 30 amp fuses(90amp total). how much does your legacy have? probably a single 20 amp fuse. I just installed two AW1000Q's. I am running them in a 98 dodge ex cab with an mtx 2300 amp to bass. it puts out about 600 watts continuously. the woofers are a .65 cubic foot enclosure. they hit harder than the two JL W6 12's they replaced. the bass is strong and hits low. they are a great woofer. i love everything about them including the purple stripe. these woofers are no joke. they love the power and i am actually running them at one quarter of continuous power capacity with the mtx. i wonder what they would do if they got a solid 1000 watts! i wanted to run four ten's in my truck but don't have the physical room. i may upgrade to the twelves in the same series and just put the ten's in my wifes car(grin). she loves the clean bass these ten's produce. the twelve's will give just a little more than the ten's, but to reach full potential i need a stronger amp. i read what some others said about these woofer's. if they weren't happy with them they probably didn't install them right or are trying to make them pound by running a 1000 watt amp that they bought for $125. these woofer's need a good quality amp with lots of power if you don't have that, you won't get the performance out of them. Strength:
hits a wide range of frequencies. can get down close to 20 hz, which is pretty low for a 10 inch sub, while maintaining mid and high low frequencies. (about up to 600 hz i think) rated at 600 rms, they sound good even if more CLEAN power is applied. a sub only sounds as good as the amplifer you have for it, so get a high quality if you purchase these subs. almost free from distortion at all playing levels.
Weakness:
i found that its not a female attracter because girls tend to not like the loud bass. the only weakness i can think of is it takes a while to break in the foam surround to where the cone can fully extend outwards. play at half the rms value for at least a month, then slowly increase power so there is no distortion. also, the chrome terminal posts could be better quality, but only a minor detail compared to the sound quality. i did find trouble when it came to making a ported enclosure for a single 10" sub. the recommended port length is 18 inches and its impossible to design the box to accomidate for the port. i recalculated the port length, and found that it sounds better at an 18" port, even if half of the port extends out of the box. one of my friends had a pair of this audiobahn model, but in 12s, and i liked them from the minute i heard em. i currently have 3 1000x 10s, but only use 2 of them in a vehicle. i put em in a great diamond shaped, plexiglass custom box that i made (ported) and slowly broke them in over a couple months. theyre powered by an audiobahn HS series 2000 rms watt amp, currently turned up 3 quarters of the way. after broken in, they are handeling about 900 rms each, (manufacture rated at 600rms.) ive set off 3 car alarms in one day with them, and 2 tickets in 4 months. i have one currently in my dorm room at college, and it is insanely loud. i highly recommend these if you want quality 10 inch subs at a fair price. paid 80 each on ubid. i found that a ported enclosure is definately the way to go with these subs. MAKE SURE YOUR BOX DIMENSIONS ARE CALCULATED ACCURATELY. check and recheck measurements prior to cutting and if your not skilled in subwoofer enclosure making, have someone that knows about it make it for you. make it out of 3/4 inch high density particle board.
