Strength:
None
Weakness:
None This is a follow-up to my first review. The Alumapro is the last subwoofer I'll ever buy. As it's become fully broken-in, it has gotten deeper and faster. It easily absorbs a full 350 wrms amp output and still sounds sweet at low levels. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Deep, tactile bass- very low frequency response. Nice natural sound on real instruments.
Weakness:
None This woofer is a great value for $135 at my local retailer. It puts out very low bass with seemingly uniform response and can produce very high levels. Dynamics are not at all compressed--nothing is lost. The presention is natural sounding and instruments like string bass are reproduced with an incredible natural quality. Some very high-end audiophile home speakers (Hale's)use Alumapro woofers. Similar Products Used: Audio Concepts 12 (deeper, but not as solid), Image Dynamics IDQ-12 (cheaper, but sluggish), Alumapro 'Alchemy' 12-DVC (really nice unit!) |

Strength:
Very good all round sound. It can hit the highs and i love the low bass. They can hold more watts than they say.
Weakness:
The only weakness i have is that they drane the crap out of my battery. When i drive at night time and crank my subs. up my lights flash with the bass, its actually pretty sweet. I have 2 12" Alumapro Alusonics in the back of my Z-71 regular cab. I am pushing them with a MARK ANTHONY 600 CL amp. (as very bada$$ amp i my add) and it thumbs real good. I use a Pioneer Cd player. My back glass on my truck flexes littery about 1/4 back and forth. I had to reseal my window because it started leaking when it rained LOL. Well anyways there top of the line subs. and are a very good price. Similar Products Used: My friend has 2 MTX 10s and 2 JL Audio 10s WO's and mine slam the Sh*t out of his. |
