GOOD VERY GOOOOD
Weakness:
could hit harder... my fault for being weak amp Okay, so I have these great subs, but my amp just basically won't handle the greatness, I don't think they are hitting hard enough due to the fact I"m not giving them enough Juice. PLEASE GIVE ME ADVICE.. what is a good/CHEAP amp I can get? I'm short on money 'cause i just spent the last of it on my new car PLEASE E_mail ME |

Strength:
VERY loud, small box, SPL & SQ potential, originality - not many people have them
Weakness:
None that I can find These subs are amazing. Im running 2 of them in my Nissan Pulsar Hatch and they absolutely pump. I have each running off their own Alpine MRD-M300 monoblock amp, getting over 350wrms each and they love it. Currently in the process of building a tighter box to get some high SPL numbers. Love the fact that you can get SPL and SQ out of these babies! |

Alumapro Alchemy
Strength:
clean loud (great for a 1 sub system) low power rating( running 250 rms to it) not extremly high priced. small box size. looks great especialy if you get this years model you can choose from 6 different cone colors.
Weakness:
need to have the box WELL sealed. but that goes for any sub. Are there louder subs out there. YES. but for around 200 $ this sub is as cleasn as they come. don't get me wrong this sub get extremely loud when powered by my JL 250/1 amp. if your not a bass head and want great SQ then this is the sub for you. Strength:
Everything a sub should be. Just compare the materials used to make the sub compared to other brands.
Weakness:
Underrated by people who don't expirment with power and box sizes. Alchemy subs may not look that strong, however, give them the power they demand and a smaller box, they'll give you anything your looking for. Their not the loudest but close. As far as SOUND QUALITY, NEVER heard anything BETTER. Streaming, punchy, deep, quiet, loud, you name it, they'll do it. Well built, very reliable. Alchemy 12
Strength:
Accurate bass reproduction. Modest power requirements. Extreamly musical AND incredible spl. Really good looks.
Weakness:
Aluminum cone, although cool looking, seems delicate and easily damaged. I have been using a JL10W6 for a while now and decided that I wanted something that goes a bit deeper and a little louder. I was not interested in using more than one sub because of space and power concerns. After listening to many subs, I decided that it was between a single Crystal CMP or an Alchemy 12. I easily decided on the Alchemy. I had a sealed box built that measures 1.1 ft^3 internal and I'm powereing it with a Soundstream Rubicon 302 for 300 watts mono. I paid $225 for the sub. The sub has an aluminum come, cast frame and basket, large motor and a flat (non-progressive) spider. It is definatly one good looking spreaker. Alchemy 12
Strength:
Very musical. Doesn't require a great deal of power. SQ is excellent and SPL is also very good. Well-constructed and looks pretty cool.
Weakness:
Cones are kind of sensitive, but that is about it. I bought my Alchemy 12 SVCs on eBay for about $320 all together and I couldn't be happier. They aren't as expensive as the Eclipse, they don't have trouble with the tinsel leads like the Perfects, and they don't need as much power as the Bostons. I am running them off of an MMATS D200 and they sound as good as anything I have ever heard from an SQ standpoint and are still loud enough to impress the bassheads. If you want an innacurate ghetto sub, look elsewhere. Very impressed and content. Similar Products Used: Eclipse 8812's, Infinity Perfect 12.1's, Boston Pro's. As good or better than any of them. |

Strength:
Loudest thing ive ever heard in a 12, good looks great sound quality, deep bass hits nice
Weakness:
none I didnt know what to expect when i bought this. ive never really heard of alumapro before, until i bought it. This is the loudest thing ive ever heard. Im putting 600 watts into it, and it broke parts of my 00 VR6 jetta already, like the rearview mirror. The sound quality is great for all types of music, and there is no distortion. A friend of mine has 2 top of the line 15" Orians, and the Alchemy 12 bumps the sh*t out of them, and every other sub out there. A quality amp and deck with sub controls are needed, so if you have sh*tty stuff, dont bother with an AlumaPro because it will be too good for you.
