These subs are increbible for Spl and Sq applications. Cant go wrong either way. They look cool and they are tough, built really well. Just all around awesome bass response.

Price. But I say you get what you pay for. craig(my friend) spent almost 2 g''''''''s just on the new amps. And the subs werent cheap either. But his system is unbelievable.

I installed a system for a friend of mine a while ago and he wanted me to put it on here. It consisted of two 15" R-types. Dual 2 ohm design. On each voice coil of the 2 subs is a new Alpine mrd-m500. The new digital class mono amplifers. Each voice coil is getting 500 watts RMS at 2 ohms, the recommended amount, and it slams extremely hard. Slammed a 166.3 at a local competition a shop put on. Even though these subs are spl monsters, they still have tremendous SQ capabilities. They sound amazing. I installed them in my friends Eclipse and he just recently thrashed his back window, which is shatter proof lexan. Nutz!

I love the 2 10s that I have, they sound awesome. I am going to purchase 3 12s for next vehicle. I would recommend these woofers to anyone.

THis sub Pounds, really pounds for a ten. Lots of excursion and clear deep bass. Sounds like i have more drivers than I do.
