if you hook up these speakers to a good aftermarket head unit you will love the sound. Good tight bass. ok high end and good midrange. they are an excellent buy for the money.

pretty much everything - lots of distortion, not very loud compared to similar speakers, plastic tweeter, plastic cloth material for woofer surround, mid and high range will give you a headache.

we bought these to replace the factory speakers in our 1990 F250 and I have to say they are better than the stock 1-way speakers but not by much. these speakers are made mostly of cheap plastic and they sound like it! I expected more from sony.
