Strength:
Strong performance when in a standard 6 sized sealed box, heard the clean bass outside. Full sound and good clarity.
Weakness:
Rockford fosgate essentially crapped this thing out granted with their techniques but while it does have a multitude of more clarity than pyle gear-x speakers, it's slightly shy of the clarity from fiberglass woofers and they used mylar tweeters and a piezo which shows they didn't get too serious, I guess they had other series to cover those bases and needs. The frequency response although smooth isn't exactly flat, the tonality of it's response could had been polished on. The speakers really would balance out and be perfect down in your front door panels, I am amazed that it threw down some lows in a constrictive enclosure but I did actually hope for more clarity, it's clear enough that listening to these if you've been living under the walmart selection you will notice things in tracks you've never heard before but, regretful to say I've heard a bit clearer.. if "and I know this is out of date now" my fiberglass speakers are 1080HD these would be standard 480 but with wide screen pixels added... pyle gear-x on the other hand would be like trying to watch youtube on dialup at 144, and from what I've heard pyle gear-x can par with about anything you'd find at walmart. Similar Products Used: I've been a rockford fan for a while but I was knee deep into their subwoofers, this is my first time owning and experiencing a set of coxials by them but I have experienced that not everything is a winner, my dad got a p1 and we went to compare it to the HE sub and DVC sub's I had and aside from the obvious difference in power, the p1 couldn't get anywhere as clean at all.. I figure that rockford had some stuff just to get the job done and then some to hit on all cylinders, however I feel their earliest goals were higher, I have a 10" punch from before there were even variations and stages and it performs sweetly, after all it is the subwoofer that made the name punch successful. |
