Strength:
Easy installation, 3 different mounting kits included.
Weakness:
S's are over-accented in lyrics, there is a noticeable hiss when any words starting or ending with s are played over the speakers. Power rating was a little disappointing, especially since I blew them when I was running power less than their max. I purchased these tweeters non-component so that I could accent the highs in my system. Overall, the performance was satisfactory and installation was a breeze: the tweeters inclue kits to surface, flush, or angle mount, which helps in a car that does not normally have component speakers in them. However, I blew these tweeters out about a month after I got them, apparently the power rating does not hold true because I was running 75Wx4 and Crutchfield said they could handle 100 each. Other than that, satisfactory performance for the price Similar Products Used: None |

100 WATTS RMS, MOUNTING ANYWHERE, DON'T HURT YOUR EARS, LIGHTBULB FUSES LIGH UP YOUR CAR WHEN LOTS OF WATTS ARE GOING THROUGH THEM
Weakness:
LIGHTBULB FUSES BLOW EASILY, CAN'T FIND THE LIGHTBULB FUSES ANYWHERE THESE SOUND VERY GOOD AND CLEAR. I HAD 2 PAIR OF INFINITY KAPPA PERFECT COMPONENT TWEETERS IN AND THESE BLOW THOSE PERFECTS AWAY. THEY SOUND GOOD AT LOW AND HIGH VOLUMES. WHEN YOU'RE PUTTING LOTS OF WATTS TO THEM, THEY DON'T HURT YOUR EARS LIKE MOST OF TWEETERS DO. The mounting baskets are a pain Wow!! These things make the Nakamichi's that they replaced seem like a bad memory. Awesome power handling and clarity. Similar Products Used: Nakamichi tweets |
