THis speaker has nice clean crisp highs that will almost blow your eardrum

I got one hell of a deal one these speakers got em for about $120 including tax hooked em up myself and i was pretty amazed at their highs and midbass excursion but i started if they play this good with 25watts to them i guess i just have to add a rockford fosgate 400a4 to these bad puppies the rms wouldnt suggest it but what the hell right? I thought they were loud at first when i hooked up that fosgate damn you couldnt believe how loud and clear these were you could hear these from about half a mile away with is preety good for some 6 1/2.

Midrange is fantastic, the highs are very listenable - not tinny. Its a speaker one could listen to for hours and not get tired. They can take quite a bit of power before distorting. I almost beleive the 40 watts RMS rating and the 50hz-20khz freq response on these.

Used the older Polk db 6520. Very similar speaker. The 6520's lasted forever. I was pushing them with a 4x40W RMS amp, and they never gave me any problems. Had to put a baffle on the ones in the rear deck because the subs in the trunk put too much pressure on them.

I would buy them again.

Not really a weakness though because bass should come from a sub

Clarity is unbelievable. Hook these up to an amp and the sound is incredible. Feels like the band is in my back seat.
Love these speakers.
You get what you pay for and Polk specializes in JUST speakers.
Highly recommend.
