i like these,they were relitivly cheap,i bought these to replace factory speakers so i mean it was a good improvement,i like the highs but bass response isnt all to well but thats y i bought a sub,bass on my deck is usually on -7,however these are a great stater speaker but i dont reccomend amplifing them

Cool looks and good clarity at low volume settings.

Poor power handling capabilities, doesn't even come with grilles.

I have them hooked directly to the front channels of my Pioneer DEH-P630 deck. They sound clear and crisp up to about 30 on the volume scale. They start crackling and bottoming out after that, especially with fat bass tracks, but then again, what can you expect for $40.00 ?
