Nonexistent tweeter. Piece of junk mid range.

This is a piece of junk speaker. I plugged it in instead of the stock wide range cheap speker that came with Ford Escort and it played worse! I have a decent experience of making hi-fi speakers, so I took it appart and discovered that what they call a tweeter is a JOKE! The midrange is a piece of junk. The low frequency unit is an okay, but could be better too. I have made a mistake of ordering these speakers from Internet without checking them out first in the shop. I ended up redoing damn things. I threw away so-called tweeter and mid-range and assembled a mid-range from my old 6x9 speakers and good tweeters. I also wired them to the 3-way passive crossover. Anyway, do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY these "speakers". Now I am very suspicious about any other Pioneer products and will try to stay away from them.
