Kenwood eXcelon's high-performance DualMag speakers make clean, powerful sound reproduction a reality in your vehicle. Two small but powerful neodymium magnets create a strong and symmetrical magnetic field for precise control of the PBO pearl-mica injection-molded poly woofer cone. You'll appreciate the extra detail and clarity in the low and midrange frequencies.

The rugged co-polymer basket eliminates problem resonances, while a heat-resistant butyl rubber surround exerts tight control over woofer movement for lower distortion and greater speaker reliability. The smooth-sounding HyperNyl dome tweeter is suspended over the cone on a two-spoke support that allows full woofer excursion. You can improve imaging by installing the speaker so that its angle-mounted tweeter fires more directly toward your ears.The KFC-Xr401 speakers fit in 4" speaker openings.
