Treat your ears to a fuller, richer soundstage! Kenwood has adapted anti-diffraction home speaker technology to their Image Enhancer series car speakers. A smooth, domed ring around the polyetherimide (PEI) balanced dome tweeter virtually eliminates "bounce back" — reflected sound waves that interfere with direct sound coming from the tweeter itself. The result is wider "sweet spot" dispersion, less distortion, and more accurate mids and highs.

The 4-way KFC-6999ie 6"x9" speaker delivers potent bass from a pearl-mica injection-molded polypropylene woofer; its rubber surround helps control cone movement (for enhanced bass response) and resists the elements (for longer speaker life). A PEI balanced dome tweeter and PEI dome supertweeter combine with the PEI cone midrange for high-frequency response that is clean, accurate, and lifelike.
