Treat your ears to a fuller, richer soundstage! Kenwood has adapted anti-diffraction home speaker technology to their Image Enhancer series car speakers. A smooth, domed ring around the PEI balanced dome tweeter virtually eliminates "bounce back" — reflected sound waves that interfere with direct sound coming from the tweeter itself. The result is wider "sweet spot" dispersion, less distortion, and more accurate mids and highs.

In addition to the polyetherimide (PEI) cone midrange, the KFC-6989ie 4-way speaker features a PEI balanced dome tweeter and a PEI dome supertweeter that will enhance your music with greater realism. A pearl-mica injection-molded polypropylene woofer lays down a musical foundation of powerful bass.
