Treat your ears to a fuller, richer soundstage! Kenwood has adapted anti-diffraction home speaker technology to their Image Enhancer series car speakers. A smooth, domed ring around the PEI balanced dome tweeter virtually eliminates "bounce back" — reflected sound waves that interfere with direct sound coming from the tweeter itself. The result is wider "sweet spot" dispersion, less distortion, and more accurate mids and highs.

The KFC-6959ie 6"x9" speaker also sports a tough pearl-mica poly woofer cone that generates beefy bass and stands up well to extremes of temperature and humidity.
