A smooth, domed ring around the PEI balanced dome tweeter virtually eliminates "bounce back" — reflected sound waves that interfere with direct sound coming from the tweeter itself. The result is wider "sweet spot" dispersion, less distortion, and more accurate mids and highs.

The 3-way KFC-1789ie speaker kicks out a big, clear sound from its 6-3/4" pearl-mica injection-molded woofer. Working with the PEI balanced dome midrange, the PEI dome tweeter offers extensive high-frequency production, so you don't miss any of the musical details.
