Sound quality for the money, the C6 has to be one of the best deals around. Off axis response. Low end extension for a 6.5" Build quality. High sensitivity requires less amp power.

Being nitpicky, there are two passive crossovers, one for the mid and one for the tweet, which adds a bit of complexity to the install, but it is worth it!

I purchased these speakers to replace a set of Infinity reference 6.5" components running off a PPI PC450 (50 wrms x 4)amplifier. My main reason for replacing the Infinity speakers were their harsh upper frequency characteristics; I just found them not natural enough, especially on smooth female vocals (Sherry of Lystra's Silence, Diana Reeves, and the like) and cymbal passages. I also found them fatiguing on longer trips and/or higher volumes. The DLS C6s are much smoother in these areas and much more "live" sounding. They also have more punchy midbass and lower frequency extension than the Infinity speakers, but only after being broken in for 6-8 hours.
I was after better sound on a budget, and am happy with my selection. These speakers really are in a different league than the Infinitys, better all around. Thanks to Jesse Norton of Absolute Autosound for introducing me to DLS.
