Maybe a China knockoff but then again they are made in China. So cheap to cheaper. I sent pics to Clif Design and I'm still waiting for a response.Orignal package didn't seem damaged yet their frames were bent and the + & - terminals were also bent and one speakers tweeter is loose. The sound quality is the same as the ten plus year old clarion that was installed. I hope they make good on their warranty policy, if not, it's my last purchase from Clif Design.
