Nice mids... very deep bass for what they are... drop right in to stock locations...10 minute install

get very bright and harsh at high volumes with current Delco H.U. ...this may clear up with addition of newer Alpine H.U.

Overall, a welcome change from the factory crappy paper cones. Surprisingly deep bass and 10 minutes to install in my rear deck. There is some distortion at high volumes, but I suspect that my P.O.S. stock head unit has a lot to do with that. I will be upgrading to an Alpine in the near future (best sounding 1 1/2 DIN H.U.) and I should be able to write another great review after that. Speakers are installed in a 95 Chevy Impala SS and are paired up with the 4X6 CVs in the front ( a little 2-way "component" system...that sounds very good at low to mid volume with present H.U.)
