I have gone heard a lot of component speakers MB Quart, JL, Fosgate (suck), Kenwood, Sony, Polk, Orion, Eclipse, Alpine, Clarion, and a few others. These speakers blew them all away. Rich, smooth, and clear. Some say overly bright but they don't realize there is a tweeter adjustment to back it down. I personally think they sound near perfect at any setting but for the best sound you have to adjust in car for best results. Unfortunately I couldn't justify $450 speakers so I went with the rally 6's which were great but I soon became a REAL CAR AUDIO GUY and went with pro 12.5 subs and the pro 6.5's among other upgrades. And all I can say is WOW, if you really care about your car audio sound quality these speakers are it. |

Boston Acoustic Pro series are GREAT sounding speakers for the price, but if u are trying to compare those to the MB QUART Q Series, u shouldnt even try, the MB QUART Q Series are much more expensive, if u first look at both the pro series and the q series, you will understand why the Q series by MB QUART are much more expensive, the craftsmanship of the speaker is just amazing, and if u compare the two in sound quality and if both are hooked to a quality amp with a quality install, the Q Series imaging and the detailed sound overcasts the Pro series with ease. But hey, im not knockin Boston Pro's, they sound good, and for the price, i think its worth it, though u can get it for much much less than the retail price |

One of the best sounding separates I have heard. I spent at least a month auditioning speakers, and the only comparable model to the 6.5's I heard was Diamond's Hex series (regrettably, I never got to hear ads's 326i model). Very smooth and clear on the high end, rich and full on the low end. The diamonds may have had a slight advantage in the midrange (the 6.5's were just a little flatter ), but I was sold on how the 6.5's were put together. Installation was a snap. You can mount the tweeter on-axis with the woofer (for those of you squeamish about cutting into your door panels), and the bracket bolted right into my car's existing speaker holes. |

Strength:
crystal clear, absolutely no distortion at highest setting, good base when set properly
Weakness:
can't think of any yet I reviewed speakers in this price range for about 1 month before deciding to go with these in the front, rally's in the rear, JBL sub connected to a panasonic 9000 DVD in dash, xtant 603. This set up sends chills up my spine, great sound accross all ranges. I would recommend to anyone but need good amplification and system to maximize potential. Similar Products Used: MB Quart , JBL |
