Boston Acoustics FS80 Speakers

DESCRIPTION

The 5x7-inch elliptical woofer in the FS80 offers considerably more SPL-pushing surface area than a standard 6-inch cone. Its pair of FS Kortec tweeters provides smooth, clean highs. Best of all, it sounds like it costs hundreds more. The 5x7-inch elliptical woofer in the FS80 offers considerably more SPL-pushing surface area than a 6-inch speaker. Butyl rubber surrounds and copolymer cones operate flawlessly even through extremes in both temperature and humidity. Plus, it fits standard 5 x 7"" and 6 x 8"" factory cutouts. A pair of FS neodymium Kortec tweeters provides smooth, clean highs (neodymium is a powerful magnet material which allows us to make any tweeter incredibly tiny, which in turn, allows you to install it in dozens of locations). And a system-specific crossover takes full advantage of the FS80 drivers individual characteristics. Best of all, the FS80 system sounds like it costs hundreds more.
