-pretty good highs.
-the bass is ok if your not going to pump it up!

-needs to get louder without bass distortion.

Well, these speakers are not too bad for the price when I got them. Sounds pretty nice with my stock front and stock cd player. However, I am planning to trade these in for some Boston Acoustics Rally 6 1/2" rears to match my BA Rally component Fronts. Powered by a Sony [BAP] head unit 620 model. Hoping it will make a big difference. o:
