Strength:

clear, clean, defined, sound, you hear alot of details outherwise missed. cross overs are well designed and getting things adjusted right is as simple as poping off the case cover and moveing a jumper. look good. rated at 50w rms so you dont have to use a be'hemouth amp to power them.

Weakness:

slightly harsh at high altitude but i just turn the treble down a couple of notchs to cominsate and they sound pretty decient at that point.

i bought these from ebay for about 130ish if i rember right. I looked recently and you can get them for 120ish from places like ebay and ikesound.com. over all these are realy good speakers for the money, i lestened to alot of different stuff before decideing on these. i like them for there clarity and crispness that is difficult to find in outher speakers in this price range. there is one thing that you should note if your thinking about buying them though. the tweets are a little harsh at high altitude because of the thin air. i recently moved from about 2500 feet above sea level to about 5000 feet and they are a little harsh at this altitude i think. the reason i realy liked them to begin with was for the fact that they were not harsh like alot of products, an example of such would be focal products. if you live at an eleavation of over mabe 3500 feet, you may want to go lesten to them before decideing to buy but i think even then, they are worth every peny.

Similar Products Used:

focal, kenwood, kicker, pioneer, dimond audio, boston acoustics, jbl, ecplise, audiobahn (realy like some of there stuff) fosgate, jl (also very good but spendy) panasonic, sony, and a few off off beat brands that dont deaserve mention.

Strength:

Amazing low end excursion. These are the best I have heard. They will handle gobs of power without distortion.

Weakness:

Tweets aren't the best that I have heard but are very crisp and clear. They have about the same sound quality as Fanatic X tweets but are put to shame by the Fanatic Q's.

I have these speakers installed in a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500. They are being powered by a Rockford 551x Amplifier at 70 watts RMS. I have a Pioneer DEH-P7300 source unit.

Similar Products Used:

Rockford Fanatic X and Fanatic Q 6.5" components.
