Strength:
The tweeters emit nice highs without being too harsh if you put the crossover on the soft setting. The midrange is excellent, giving crystal clear clarity, even when given a low wattage input.
Weakness:
Durability? I only paid $129.95 for this set and I was amazed at the clarity they prodived. The adjustable crossover is a defintite plus and the fact that they have a high sensitivity rating makes them sound great, even with a low power receiver. The paper woofers make me question the reliability, but overall I think it's an excellent buy! Similar Products Used: Pioneer 6 1/2'', and Rockford Fosgate 6 1/2''. These infintiy speakers are way ahead of the Pioneers in terms of realism and slightly better than the Fosgates. |

Strength:
Smooth articulate midrange; great dynamic range and very efficient
Weakness:
Tweeters can be a bit bright, but nothing that turning down the treble control can't tame After living w/ the lackluster sound of the factory stereo in my 1999 Ford Explorer, I decided to purchase Infinity outboard amplifiers and speakers. I decided on components up front, because I wanted the tweeters mounted at ear level for proper imaging and soundstaging. Also have Kappas in the rear doors. |
