I think this is a very good speaker value. Especially at the clearance price I paid; it was the third cheapest 6x9 Crutchfield had at the time. concrete leveling

Tweeter

Cast aluminum housing provides security to speaker.
More softer sound then the optional aluminum tweeter.

Cross-over

PCB is well built and the layout secure.
Tweeter protection is great but not replaceable.
Sleek housing.

Screw terminals would have been a better choice then simple spades; provides better security.
Tweeter silk prone to drying out and cracking.
Crossover network housing is weak abs plastic that cracks too easily.
The crossover does not contain an led as they describe. Instead it has a light bulb like fuse to protect the tweeter. However if this bulbs burns out in protection mode it cannot be replaced.

I purchased this kit for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler sport. I really miss this product and was quite pissed off that Alphasonik decided to discontinue it after only a few years production. Being from the 800 series second only to the Mayhem series, these were top notch offerings. Had the show and the go. Solidly built for abuse and yet a pleasure to the eyes and of course the ears. I have kept my midranges for possible future use because they are just that good. Very decent value with features that are not common in this price range.
