Strength:
This unit has a quick processor can can toggle through CD's and DVD's as fast as a computer can toggle through a memory card. The Navigation is highly accurate, prompt, and very easy to use. The unit does not require a lot of space, especially since the brain is built into the unit itself. The sound quality is very good. There are plenty of add-on options if you really feel you need a camera or satellite radio...
Weakness:
The memory card you can put into this unit only allows a memory card up to 128mbs... I don't like that... So much for the 4 gig one I got before I read the instructions :( Other than that, I can't think of anything else... This is an excellent all-in-one kind of radio. The radio plays music much better than the majority of radios offered on the market. There are so many sound options on this radio that everyone could find their own sweet spot. The DVD's play very well and make it seems as if you are at the MOVIES. The Navigation system requires no disk and blows any other stupid Mgellan or other Navi system out of the water. It is very accurate and I could not be any happier with my AVN7000 by ECLIPSE. Similar Products Used: Pioneer AVH5700, Pioneer N2, Pionner N3 |

Strength:
All aspects.
Weakness:
You have to but ALL the accessories. Does not have HD radio built in and no IPOD accessory given. Wow. Sound quality is clear and more powerful compared to other after market radios. I had a JVC HD radio which i still give high ratings to but is no comparison to Eclipse AVN 7000. Bass is much heavier and interior speakers are clearer. DVD sounds like you are in a movie theater and the Navigation is so accurate you feel as is you want to get lost. |
