NVA N751a
Strength:
Easy to use, Very affordable, Easy to install, nice interface
Weakness:
Nav discs are EXPENSIVE there's no way I would pay $150 a piece for them, I bought the whole set from this guy for $70 shipped. If anyones interested his email is mssokc@satx.rr.com Great nav system, a bit older but it still works fine. Gotta love ebay. Similar Products Used: pioneer avic d1 (buddy's deck) |

Strength:
Quick calculation, decent database
Weakness:
Price of map discs. $150 a piece is just ridiculous. I found the discs pretty cheap. If you need any of the map discs, feel free to email me at StephenDavis@satx.rr.com This is a killer nav unit for the price. It's not quite as fast and has as detailed of maps as the current DVD units, but still gets me everywhere I need to go. Similar Products Used: Clarion AutoPC, Kenwood KVA-2100 |

Strength:
-Easy to use
Weakness:
-kinda slow. Sometimes you can pass your turn before it recalculates a new route. I can't see an average person needing this. However for someone like a real estate broker. This is absolutely a MUST! Saves me sooo much time looking at maps. It will pay for itself in no time at all. Similar Products Used: Factory nav for Acura |

Strength:
Quick navigation compared to PC based units, retracts into dash when not in
Weakness:
High cost ($150) of the nine regional CD-ROM's, the promised updates have not been done, have to change a CD when crossing regional borders We have the Alpine NVA-N751A installed as part of a complete electronics Similar Products Used: We use PC based nav from DeLorme and TravRoute. Only thing the Alpine really lacks is good long distance planning so we use the PC's. |
