Optical output, 12 second DSP, CD Text and Disc Naming, Mounting angles.

Why the red, looks awful? What was Sony thinking? I beleive this is the last unit of any quality I've seen Sony release since the drop of the Mobile ES line. What were they thinking?

I recently purchased this unit and use it connected optically to the xdp-210eq DSP. Since the installation, the unit has not skipped once. The 12 second esp function works flawlessly. Honestly, the shuffle mode is the most amazing part I've found with this unit. It will shuffle through discs ahead of time, and will start another song on a different cd and there will be no delay between the change. Very nice. A very simple unit to connect if you have the correct equipment. Sound quality is great with the optical output.
