This AIWA product is the biggest piece of junk going. Sent it back for repair three times... it still isn't right. Time to cut my losses. Off to the garbage can. Similar Products Used: Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer. |

Strength:
sound ok when it works
Weakness:
Very poor quality Have used over a year. Now get the E03 error. Take apart..clean..works for a couple of weeks then stops. Buy something else...piece of junk. I'll never buy another Aiwa product. |

Strength:
It was ok when it worked.
Weakness:
Consistently stops working every few months. Avoid at all costs. It worked ok for a while, but then I get the E-03 error, took it to the service center, got it fixed, it worked for one day, then broke again. Sent it to Aiwa, got it back, it worked for a few months, now it's broken again. |

Strength:
uh, well, it can sort of play CD''s, when it works, unit lloks cool with the fancy lights and windows.
Weakness:
Makes a better wheel chock. Worked fine right up until the warantee was up, then, all hell broke loose. "e-03" constantly, probelms with the Treble quality (constant static on high-pitch sounds). Strangely, cant find anywhere to get help on how to fix this problem. Not even gonna bother with those usless Best Buy "techs"...riiight, techs.... |

Strength:
High quality for the money
Weakness:
Sound is not as good as a direct wired unit, but that is, I believe, inherent in an FM modulated player (one that plays through the FM radio) I have been very impressed by the product so far. I installed it in a 1994 Geo Prism (same as a Toyota Corolla). The installation went smoothly and the unit has worked as advertised Similar Products Used: None |

Are there any?
Weakness:
poor quality sound and won't last long This CD player is aweful. I have had two of them in the past 6 months, and they work fine for the first month or so, but then you'll start getting a E03 error message and it won't play. You'll have to eject the cartridge, then push it back in and pray that it works, which will only work about 10% of the time. Oh, and the sound quality is pretty bad too. Similar Products Used: Compared to my Discman that I have to use a cassette adapter, the quality is about half as good. |
