I have had my in-dash minidisc for about a year now and think it is the greatest thing since recordable music came along. I haven't had any trouble with this unit, skipping or sound quality, and it has a decent fm radio section. I haven't bought any pre-recorded minidisc because i record my own on my home deck. It's really cool that you can arrange what you record in any order you want, and simple to erase and record over and over again...the bomb.

I love this thing, I really enjoy Mini-Disc but to review it vs. a CD player in quality and convience this thing does great. Convience wise it's beats a cd player by leeps and bounds. Quality wise it ranks as good as many decks in the same price range. I admittingly could have got a better sounding deck at the time, but the difference was nominal and there are too many things this deck provides that are worth it.
