Great lookin'' and it shows the artist and title of the artist if you have an mp3 cd

it takes to long to load mp3 songs (about 5 sec.) compared to others like the sony mp3 player.

This is a great head unit. It has so many features and is really easy to use. The graphics and the user interface is great.

Easy to use, cool display, system control, 4V pre-outs, build quality.

There are so many features, I find myself tweaking the system for optimum sound on every song. Also the display switches from dark to bright about every minute, and this is very distracting and annoying at night. I wish there was a way to keep it dark all the time.

This deck is amazing! There are so many features on this deck that when I first bought it I found it a little overwhelming. Once you figure out what''s going on here, you really start to appreciate the total control you have over your system. In this price range, no car deck can touch it. I paid $430 cdn, well below the msrp and a very reasonable price. The display is really cool, and everyone who comes in my car compliments me on the deck. Build quality is good, and the CD player rarely skips, even on the bumpiest roads in my car with no suspension. 4V pre-outs are a plus. I have this set up with 2 pheonix amps and the best premier 6 1/2" and 6 x 9" speakers, with a regular pioneer sub. I like punk and hard music, and I find this system suits this music well. I f you''re just looking to play CD''s in your car, this deck might be overkill, but if you want to build a high quality system I would highly recommend this deck. It blows away previous Sony and Clarion decks I have owned

Great display, TONS of features, electrical is questionable though.

Broke after a month, but I suspect most would not. Buttons are a tad to small.

My first impression of this deck was great. It met all of my expectations and then some. It had almost too many features, but all would be useful if I had had my amps hooked up. But I only had it for a month and the damn thing shorted out. Somehow the display on it fried or something, I really don''t know. So I sent it back in the mail and they lost my package so I never got it back. So that leaves me deckless and out $230 until I claim it or something? But if the deck would have continued working I would have been happy with it. I am now looking at the newest DEH-P740MP to buy. Pioneer all the way, just make sure you get the warranty and don''t ship US MAIL Sevice!!! Can''t give it full 5''s because I only had it for a month! ps, if you are considering this deck or the 2002 model if you have any external amps go with the 630, it has 4volt pre-out the newer ones do not.
